Walter Thompson (Contractors) Ltd has been established in Northallerton since 1920. The Company undertakes individual Building and Design & Build Contracts up to £10 million in value, together with Partnerships and Developments throughout the North East. As well as directly employing the traditional building trades and owning and operating a substantial Plant and Transport Fleet, including more than 100 vehicles, Walter Thompson also has in-house facilities for Property Maintenance, Plant and Transport, Electrical Installations, Structural Steelwork and Metalwork. Together with being constuctiononline registered, the Company is a long-standing member of both the National Federation of Builders and the National House Building Council and operates to a Quality Management System fully accredited to ISO 9001.
With over 300 employees, the company has an establishment in the North East which is generally larger than most regional offices of National Contractors.
