Clarke Chapman is a multi-sited business concerned with the manufacture, assembly and design of materials handling equipment together with the installation/relocation, repair & refurbishment activities of cranes and associated heavy machinery. In addition, the Company also offers a facilities management capability whereby a bespoke service support is provided to suit the individual needs of the customer.
Established in 1864, Clarke Chapman is a well-recognised and much respected employer in the North East with its manufacturing and machining facilities located in Gateshead. The Company not only designs, manufactures and assembles its own product range, it provides machining and "build to print" services to sub-contract customers from across the whole industry spectrum; from nuclear, oil & gas, to defence and marine, from power generation to general engineering.
