Architectural Revit Technician

The Role
Part of a design team producing house type planning drawings in conjunction with the working drawings for submission as part of planning applications
Obtaining NHBC/LABC type approval for all house type packages
Provision of accurate specification information to ensure accurate costings for each project
You’ll use an existing library of parametric families and Dynamo scripts to capture cost and specification data as well as generate and maintain house type models. You will also populate and extract data from models to provide essential commercial insight
Assisting in the further development of Revit across the business
Visiting site to analyse potential projects/house types and carry out reflective practice
Collaboration with the visualisation team to ensure alignment and positive workflows, including efficient 3D modelling that works seamlessly with 3DS Max
Issuing, checking and co-ordinating third party design into models

Experience Required
Degree qualified in a relevant subject preferably
A confident Revit user with good knowledge of how to use its functional content and drawing packages
Strong working knowledge of residential building design and construction
Good understanding of NHBC/LABC Standards and building regulations
