Intermediate / Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist

Overview
Due to a strong order book, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join a close knit design team in a growing company.

Company
A multi-discipline design and build practice delivering high-end projects from inception through to completion for residential and commercial clients.

Role
Working on a diverse range of projects, the Architectural Technologist will prepare planning, building regulation and construction drawings. They will manage schemes through design & build stages, working across all RIBA stages, develop specifications and standard details and use various software to produce high quality technical details/drawings. The role will also include site visits and carrying out measured surveys as well as managing other design consultants.

Experience Required
Candidates will have a degree in an architectural subject or equivalent or have relevant work experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of UK Building Regulations and submitting planning applications is essential as well as practice using Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Revit, NBS is desirable and residential experience within a UK based practice, housebuilder or contractor would be favourable. Membership of the CIAT (or working towards) is also desirable.

The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritise own workload and manage deadlines and the flexibility and willingness to provide the best service to support all areas of the business.

Remuneration
Salary is competitive, based on experience.
