Architectural Technician

Due to a strong order book, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join the Newcastle office.

Company
A well-established Architects Practice operating in the public and private sector in predominantly healthcare and residential with the occasional special project.

Role
Working on a range of projects, the Architectural Technician will deliver detailed design information in line with the contract programme with the input of other design team consultants, external subcontractors and specialist designers. The successful applicant will use various software to produce high quality technical details/drawings. The role will also include site visits.

Experience Required
Candidates will have a qualification in an architectural subject or equivalent or have relevant work experience. Knowledge of Revit would be desirable but training could be provided for the right candidate. Experience within a UK based practice working on similar projects would be favourable. Membership of the CIAT (or working towards) is also desirable and a willingness to learn, commitment to professional development is essential. The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritise own workload, manage deadlines and the flexibility and willingness to provide the best service to support all areas of the business.

Remuneration
Salary is competitive, based on experience.
