Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician looking for a hybrid role that will develop experience in design co-ordination and technical quality management.
A prominent national building contractor with an annual turnover of circa £80 million, based in the North East.
You will be providing an architectural service in the design, drafting and management of the design of projects in a broad range of sectors – food/non-food retail, commercial, education, leisure, and residential, both new-build and refurbishment
Preparation and presentation of design proposals using Revit and CAD
Preparation of planning and buildings regulation applications
Leading the detailed design process- material research, specification production (NBS Create)
Carrying out design-stage risk assessments
Liaising with clients and other consultant
Improving and steamlining QEMS for compliance
Experienced Architectural Technician
Revit and AutoCAD skills
Previous experience or an interest in design co-ordination, managing all external consultants to keep design programme on time and on budget.
Previous experience or an interest in helping develop the department’s quality procedures for design and technical delivery.
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, able to plan and prioritise and work to deadlines
Competitive and will depend on experience
