Bid Manager – Civil Engineering – North
Well established civil engineering main contractor operating throughout regions of northern England, predominantly the North East and Yorkshire. This business has proven, diverse capabilities ranging through a number of infrastructure sectors, offering employees a varied and continuously interesting and challenging project portfolio.
The Bid Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the bid process, with the support of a bid team and other key contributors from within Project Management, Planning and Estimating divisions. Key duties will include management of tracking of portals, PQQ submissions, decision to bid, development of bid plans, allocation of resource, involvement with programming, editing and finalising all documentation.
The successful applicant will come from within the civil engineering industry with tender writing and/or management experience and ideally, a project delivery background. Applicants must be familiar with the production of detailed programmes, capable of using Microsoft Office packages including Project.
