Bid Manager
Due to a strong pipeline of work, an opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to join one of the UK’s largest construction companies.
Company
A Tier 1 national contractor working on projects across a range of sectors in the private and public sector including education and DFE frameworks, Ministry of Justice frameworks, residential and work place projects.
Role
Reporting to the Preconstruction Manager, the Bid Manager will overseeing the full bid process, leading the bid opportunity through to offer stage for projects upwards of 20-30 million. Working with a team of Design Managers, Planners, Project Managers and Graphic Designers, they will have the skills necessary to considerably increase the chances of winning bids. Candidates will have a good understanding of construction techniques to help the Bid Writers to create compelling bids.
Experience Required
Ideally from a bid writing/managing, planning or operations background, the successful applicant will have experience working for a Tier 1 contractor and may also have practice working on education sector projects.
Remuneration
Competitive package dependent on experience.
