Bid Writer – Construction – SME

A Bid Writer is required to take ownership of bids within the company, providing the creative and persuasive written contribution to tenders which will range through the companies specialised sectors. The role will involve working closely with the project teams to extract critical technical information about projects, producing the written documentation and using InDesign to create effective written and visual bids.
As this is a new position, responsibility will also be held for building a library of information and examples that can be used for the future benefit of the business and new incumbents who have bid responsibility as the business expands. The role reports directly to a leading Director within the organisation, is office based, ideally full time.
Successful applicants will understand the bid process within the construction industry and have a proven flair for creative writing. Design software experience is not essential, but advantageous. Key attributes include the enthusiasm to take ownership of the role and opportunity to build the bid capability of the business effectively, aiding sustainable growth of the company and involved with development of a preconstruction team.
