A Bid Writer is required to help the business improve its performance with public sector tenders. The person in post will take responsibility for collaborating information from the technical team and presenting the submission in the best way to ensure that all aspects of quality and cost are communicated effectively to win the job.
This is a permanent staff position which can be full or part time, reports to the Director, and has flexibility to work between the office and from home.
The ideal applicant will have bid writing experience from within the construction industry, preferably the building sector. Knowledge of public sector tendering processes, PQQs, and having templates for elements such as diversity policy and other quality measures are important. The successful candidate will be self motivated and passionate about winning and will accept and reflect on feedback from clients to continually improve performance. The company employs a team of ambitious, driven individuals who work as a team, and so fitting in with the company ethos and being a team player is critical for personal fit.
Salary will vary depending on background and level of experience, however as a guide, the company expects to pay between £28,000 to £45,000 salary, plus bonus and win fees with potential to raise the on target earnings up to around £55,000.
