Business Development Manager required for a regional role in the North East. This is a full-time, permanent role and comes with a car allowance and uncapped bonus. It will be hybrid with most of the work done from home and via meetings with new customers and occasional meetings at the office.
Working for a regional construction business, identifying new markets and developing greater penetration of existing markets. Some preparation work has been done on this already with a solid list of leads to start. You will be expected to hit monthly KPIs and achieve set targets too.
The successful applicant will create their own development strategy and agree this with the Director. This will be coupled with a sales forecast with regards to planned activity.
At this level, you will be able to self-manage in the main, sourcing leads yourself and following up on leads passed via the business, attending meetings and securing new business. Part of this will include delivering presentations and creating proposals for customers.
The ability to manage relationships well is vital to this role and the ability to populate and us a CRM is also important.
Supported by a marketing department, you will be instrumental in developing effective sales materials and will take part in events such as trade shows.

The role is region wide and not particularly office based so the home location of the successful applicant could be anywhere in the North East region.
The salary is circa £40,000 with an uncapped OTE of £16,000, a car allowance of £450.00 per month is provided along with mileage.
