Contracts and Purchasing Officer required for an interim role in Durham, this is to be on a weekly rolling contract. The hours are full-time and it offers an immediate start.
To effectively administer the appropriate procedures that support and enhance the activities within the Contracts & Purchasing Unit and to deputise as required for the Procurement & Contracts Manager, or Contracts and Procurement Coordinator
Working in a purchasing and procurement team, you will support colleagues, ensuring they follow the purchasing procedures, financial regulations and government procurement policy.
Recent, relevant experience is essential and ideally some experience in undertaking quotations and below threshold tenders.
£10.00 – £11.00 per hour.
