A highly successful regional, family-run civil engineering contractor are seeking to appoint a Completions Engineer.
This well-known and highly reputable company delivering a broad scope of civil engineering projects predominantly across Yorkshire and occasionally nationwide. Sectors this company operate in include Water predominantly, as well as Highways, Groundworks, Utilities and Public Realm. Working on behalf of clients in both the public and private sector adding to a strong client base of main contractors, this company are well placed to continue their growth in a vibrant and busy region.
This is a technical role requiring an understanding of civils works for D&B infrastructure water projects such as sewer repairs, installing rising mains, RC tanks, stormwater tanks, or similar. On completion of projects information has to be supplied to the client incorporating elements such as H&S files, O&M manuals, quality and construction phase plans, design documentation, carbon capture information or information on servicing of assets. This role requires the collation and co-ordination of all of this information, liaising with relevant stakeholders from design and construction teams and submitting it to the client through their documentation systems.
This would suit a candidate who would prefer to be office based, with knowledge and experience of how to read, intepret and measure off designs/drawings, understands materials used in various projects, quality documentation. Backgrounds might include experience as Site Agent, Site Manager, Site Engineer, Design Co-ordinator.
Knowledge of Yorkshire Water advantageous.
