Cost Consultant (Disputes)

The Role
As a Consultant you will be analysing large amounts of documentation to make determinations on where a dispute has arisen, with granular attention to the terms of the contract. Writing and presenting strong narratives to back up claims is a critical component of the role with a desire to resolve construction disputes. Actively contributing in meetings.

Experience Required
A degree in a construction related subject.
Chartership such as (MRICS) or working towards this or another professional qualification such as an MSC or LLM in Construction Law is highly desirable
A solid commercial construction background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Cost Consultant with previous experience of running construction projects post-contract to final accounts
Previous experience as a Claims Consultant is desirable but training, coaching and support is provided for those looking to move into the field
A good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contractual matters
A strategic thinker with proven problem solving skills
