This is an attractive opportunity for a Design Co-ordinator interested in either a part time or full time position, who would enjoy working in a smaller main contractor environment.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all design information for the construction of projects is fit for purpose during the pre-construction phase and post-contract phase. This requires working closely with internal key contacts, architects, engineers, key sub-contractors and the client, assisting with development of designs, ensuring that drawings and specifications are compliant with building standards, work cohesively and keep pace with the project timescale. Once the projects are on site there will also be document control aspects to the role.
Relevant qualification in a construction discipline such as architectural technology, building studies.
A detailed understanding of the construction build process.
Construction design and technical co-ordination knowledge and experience.
Knowledgeable on NHBC standards, relevant building regulations.
Highly organised, professional, able to work to project timescales.
Negotiable depending on experience.
