A fantastic opportunity for a Design Manager or Assistant Design Manager, initially to work as part of a team on a large value new-build construction project.

The Company
Top 10 national main contractor delivering projects across education, commercial and health. Looking for a Design Manager or Assistant Design Manager to join an on site team.

Reporting to the Senior Design Manager the position involves playing a crucial role in the management and control of the design process for a project, ensuring that design information package aligns with project requirements. As part of the Project Delivery team, the individual will facilitate design team meetings, ensure designs and proposals are fit for purpose, delivered within deadlines to ensure the project timescales are met.

Development and Implementation of Design Proposals
Management of Design Team
Engagement with Commercial and Operational Teams
Quality Management
Design Deliverables Programming
Meetings Facilitation
Sustainability Management
Document Control and Resource Management

Experience Required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
Organised with excellent time management skills.

Salary will vary depending on experience, generous holidays and company pension scheme.
