Development Manager required as part of expansion of well established business.
Well established organisation, operating within the construction sector, is expanding its land led development team, creating a new exciting opportunity for a Development Manager.
The Development Manager will be required to manage the progress of projects from the point at which the business has gained control of the land until readiness for operational delivery. This post carries responsibility for taking schemes all the way through planning processes, dealing with design, architects, solicitors, surveys etc to ensure all correct paperwork is in place to build. Projects vary but are typically to develop housing, extra care and retirement schemes on sites of 30 to 100+ units.
The Development Manager will come from a background working within a Registered Provider, Housing Association or possibly Architects practice, fully capable of managing the land development and planning processes of multiple sites simultaneously.
Negotiable depending on experience, circa £50,000 to £60,000 plus other benefits.
