Sector: Building

Location: Tyne and Wear

Job Reference: VS79529

A senior level opportunity within a Development Management, Project Management and Quantity Surveying consultancy.

Company
The company’s focus is on inspiring people and exceeding expectations through delivering creative, high quality projects with social value with additional, careful attention to the clients’ and end users’ needs in the whole, wider picture.  With an established network, the company chooses to work with good clients where relationships have been nurtured over many year, and on quality projects.

The company possesses an enviable network of relationships across the client market and the wider construction industry.  Benefitting therefore from a portfolio of quality, high profile work with client projects and a pipeline of work already secured into 2022, the business is set fair for growth and development.

The business delivers Development Management, Project Management, Cost Management, Employer’s Agent and QS services, with a particular specialism in regeneration developments within towns and cities providing innovative solutions to communities with Extra C, Housing and Education and commercial developments which include high quality Build to Rent, managed workspace and hotel schemes.

The Role
In a move to organise the business for growth and to enable opportunities for future colleagues, the plan is to appoint an additional Director/Director Designate/Associate with a view to then taking the company forward themselves in the relatively near future.

With attractive, appealing office spaces and a flexible Working from Home offering, the company is passionate that its progressive, accommodating culture, enshrined in openness, honesty and respect, informs its employees and clients’ experiences.

Experience Required
The appointed candidate will ideally be MRICS qualified, and will have a pedigree of experience enabling him/her to help build the business and take it on themselves in roughly the next five to six years.  If candidates are able to bring a potential client portfolio, this could be of interest, not least because it would demonstrate a track record with client relationships, but it is not essential.

Of paramount importance is the candidate’s perspective and outlook – the recruitment process will probe candidates’ values – values, ethics, and a commitment to sustainability and social value are critical to this role.

This role represents a superb opportunity for a technically excellent, knowledgeable, experienced and driven individual who is excited about the opportunity to work alongside someone with an impeccable reputation and connections to build a business with a reputation for being good to deal with and great to work for, and contribute to its future success.

There is some flexibility on the stage of career the individual has currently reached as this could feasibly be a move for a current Associate Director aspiring to become a Director/Director Designate, or an established Director who may have become disenchanted or may be specifically looking to join the particular culture of this business and everything that it affords as an opportunity.

Remuneration
