One of the UK’s leading housebuilders, recognised for innovative design and quality and demonstrable commitment to the personal and professional development of its workforce. The Technical team engages with the Commercial and Operations teams, to ensure effective delivery of each scheme.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Engineer will be responsible for the preparation of viability studies as part of the planning process, and resolving engineering issues, ensuring compliance with building regulations and NHBC standards and ensuring designs and approvals are prepared for site start for all elements of site infrastructure works.
The role covers the Yorkshire region and as such, the location of the successful applicant can be accommodated to suit.
It is essential that candidates have construction engineering experience, either from on site with a civil engineering/groundworks contractor, from private practice or from a local authority background, responsible for roads, sewers and groundworks packages.
£42,000 to £45,000 per annum plus £5,000 car allowance or equivalent car, and discretionary bonus of 7.5 – 15%.
