Attractive opportunity for a Civils Estimator to join a family-owned groundworks contractor.

The Company
Established, family-owned 3rd generation civils groundworks contractor. The business is an experienced and trusted partner specialising in groundworks, drainage, infrastructure, 278 works and flood alleviation projects. They support a broad range of building contractors on commercial, residential, education and renewable projects across Yorkshire. A relaxed, flexible and friendly environment.

The Role
Usually working on estimates for 6-7 projects at any one time across the Yorkshire region, from £500k to £2 million. Producing estimates on Excel, working from first principles, carrying out take-offs or working from Bills of Quantities.

Experience Required
A experienced Estimator with a groundworks background, or perhaps a Contractors Manager or Project Manager with a sound understanding of technical constraints on site, who can bring practical knowledge and alternative solutions, value engineering the project.

Remuneration
A package to suit the individual depending on experience and location.
Salary up to £55k as a guide, a higher salary would be considered depending on experience.
