Experienced Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity for a managing/senior quantity surveyor has arisen to join an expanding team.

A leading UK property developer with extensive knowledge and experience in the design, construction and project management of various sized residential and commercial development projects in the North East, in both new build and refurbishments.

Job
The company requires a Managing Surveyor to manage all pre & post construction site activities on all projects, to be responsible for all surveying duties whilst adhering to all company policies. This is hands on role so will need to possess commercial and contractual expertise to identify all available opportunities and potential commercial risks within relevant contracts and be able to take ownership for bringing about improvements in the management of contracts from pre-construction through to post-completion

The successful candidate will work closely with commercial manager to maintain strict cash flow management; supply chain development, subcontract procurement and dispute management.

Experience Required
Applicants will have a proven track record as a senior quantity surveyor working with a developer and be able to demonstrate managing projects from inception to completion and with a strong contact base.

Remuneration
Salary will vary depending on experience, plus package including company car/allowance, pension scheme and health insurances.
