H&S Adviser – Cumbria – Civil Engineering

Established for several decades, this organisation operates nationally to deliver construction and civil engineering projects throughout the UK. 

Role
The project entails bulk earthworks, new drainage and cable ducting, new road and footpaths, in a disused area of Sellafield, to prepare the area for building development. A Health & Safety Adviser is required to join the project team. The role carries responsibility for ensuring the team understand and work in accordance with the specific health and safety criteria within the site, and with relevance to earth moving and civil engineering works.  

Experience Required
Applicants should come from a health and safety background with experience already gained within a construction setting and ideally, Sellafield. Any previous knowledge of working within sectors such as the MoD would also be advantageous. 

Remuneration
Salary will depend on experience, paid up to a maximum of £65,000 plus car allowance. 

This is a full time position based on site in Sellafield. Site hours are typically 7am to 5pm. Transport within the local area and security clearance will be arranged. Housing accommodation will be provided to staff working away from home during the week. security clearance will
