The Company
This organisation has more than 30 years history and a strong reputation in supplying counter balance and warehousing forklift truck equipment for sale and for hire on short and long term contracts, through a core of repeat and new clients throughout the North East, as well as providing a maintenance services. With a low staff turnover, this is an organisation that cares about employees and willingly invests in career development to ensure job satisfaction and staff retention. The company is growing and adding new business streams, soon to move to larger premises. Although it operates independently, this business is part of a larger successful Plc which provides a strong supportive backing and stability.

The Role
The mobile field engineer will be responsible for maintenance on forklift machinery at clients premises based in and around the North East. Undertaking both planned and reactive projects, the daily working pattern is organised in accordance with the employees location and suitable proximity to other contracts. Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 4:45 pm with overtime available at certain times.

Experience
Corepeople are working exclusively with this company to recruit two Mobile Field Engineer/Service Engineers. Applicants should be keen to pursue this role with the long term view of becoming an asset to the team able to work independently. Suitable applicants are likely to bring experience ranging from being a recently qualified apprentice with an NVQ or a time served mechanic, through to individuals who offer extensive hands on experience in a similar position at a senior level.

Remuneration
Salary will be negotiable depending of level of previous experience brought to the role. Applicants who are already operating at an independent level and who could hit the ground running can expect a salary upwards of £27,000.  A company van and fuel card, mobile phone, tablet and laptop will be provided. Employees will receive 22 days annual leave which after 2 years increases to 25 days entitlement and be invited to join the company pension scheme.
