An experienced Office Manager, with experience of coordinating the full bid process within the construction industry, is required for an established professional business located on the outskirts of Durham city centre.

Bid Co-ordination & Marketing
Co-ordinating the bid process from receipt through to submission, to include the design of quality submissions to compliment the fee submission
Administering and completing PQQs and competition entries
Researching opportunities via various online portals
Structure breakdown historic bid information to assist future bids
Updating company CVs and case studies
Maintaining and updating the bid library
Preparing high quality PowerPoint presentations
Assisting in graphic presentation of written architectural documents
Assisting in writing schedules and other documents
Producing marketing literature including brochures, flyers, newsletters etc
Ensuring the website and company’s social media accounts are updated including Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram

Office Supervision
Supervising the administration staff to ensure office efficiency and organisation
Operating the office Management Systems (Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental)
Health & Safety administration.
Carry out internal audits and actively participate in external audits
Manage the Operating Systems within the office to maintain compliance
Generally supporting the office efficiency and organisation
Managing the CRM database (Rapport), ensuring it is kept up to date 
Induction of new employees
Organising diary appointments
Organising company events
Dealing with correspondence and queries
Preparing letters, presentations and reports
Ensuring company registrations are up to date

Previous experience as an Office Manager
Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator within the construction industry (or similar)
Be proficient in; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop.
A First Aid qualification is desirable

circa £30,000 pa. (negotiable depending upon experience)
