An opportunity for a Preconstruction Manager to join a housebuilding company.

The Role
As Preconstruction Manager your role will be to manage and drive project plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring that new schemes are progressed in a timely manner through the estimating and design phases through to starting on site. This involves being the interface with all internal and external parties who have input into design, planning, estimating, bid management, commercial risks and their mitigation, procurement, construction methods and technology.
There will be monthly reports and delivery of information on timescales and progress with all areas for each scheme, and use of software such as Asta for programming for example. There will also be preconstruction meetings with clients from local authorities or housing associations when partnering on schemes.
Experience Required
Construction professionals with a broad knowledge of pulling together design, planning, procurement, and other pre-start requirements for housing developments.
