Senior Buyer

An opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join a prestigious housing developer on Co. Durham.

Role
You will work as part of the commercial department and be responsible for procuring materials and plant, prepare material budgets for various contracts, issue tender enquiries, analyse quotes, carry out take-offs from drawings, create material schedules for sites, and regular reporting.

Experience Required
Previous experience in a Buying role with knowledge of take-offs, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications and Training
Current CSCS card or equivalent.
GCSE English and Mathematics grade A-C/4+ or equivalent.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel; adaptable to new systems.
Travel to sites as required.
