Senior Design Manager

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join one of the largest national Tier 1 contractors, based in the North East.

Company
An established national contractor working on a range of projects across the private and public sector including education, frameworks, ministry of justice, ministry of defence and residential sectors.

Role 
The Design Manager will oversee the complete design process with exposure to the preconstruction and construction stages of the project, co-ordinating design consultants and taking the lead to make sure that the design is consistent with the client’s requirements, current legislation, and correct technical standards.

Experience Required
Applicants will currently be in a Design Manager role, ideally working on DFE framework projects and 2 stage construction projects. Candidates will have a main contractor background and will have practice overcoming challenges throughout the design process.

Remuneration
Competitive package dependent on experience.
