Site Engineer

Company
Nationally operating civil engineering contractor with a long term project to deliver inside Sellafield. The company is building it's team who will operate in this location together for this project and ongoing works, therefore providing an excellent opportunity to find career development and progression within a stable, secure setting and single location. The current project includes earthworks, drainage, ducting, roads and footpaths; all preparation for building development.

Role
A Site Engineer is required to join the team. The position will carry responsibility for a wide range of engineering tasks, as well as setting out. Projects within Sellafield have strict, more stringent levels of compliance required than typical construction schemes, so the environment provides an opportunity for Engineers to develop their skills to the highest standards, ensuring easy transferability of skills into the broader market.

This position is located on one site, with offices nearby just outside of Sellafield, providing a predictable and secure work pattern for Engineers who would prefer not to be travelling across a broad geographical patch at short notice. Accommodation can be provided for those who do not live close to Sellafield.

Experience Required
Applicants must have civil engineering qualifications (ideally degree or HNC/HND) plus relevant employment experience within a UK based engineering role, a full driving license. Any experience gained already from within Sellafield is advantageous.

Remuneration
This is a staff position. Salary will vary depending on experience – up to £50,000 for an Engineer with experience and up to £40,000 for those with only a couple of years junior level experience gained to date. Other package benefits will apply, as will personal development reviews and the opportunity to increase remuneration over time.
