Clients range from local authorities, utility bodies, architects and consultants to private homeowners, positioned around the UK, with night work also sometimes available.

Role
Surveyors are required to take up responsibility for carrying out topographical, measured building and underground utilities surveys and producing 3D plans, maps, layouts and elevations in follow up. Appointments are pre-arranged and time will be evenly split between the office and sites, with the office providing a local hub for all staff to work in a friendly environment. Company vans are provided, ensuring staff have access to all required equipment.

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will have graduated a degree in one of the following subjects; survey and mapping, geography, civil engineering, and be eager to progress within a measurement role. Any previous experience of topographical surveys, laser scanning or utility scanning will be advantageous. Personal attributes sought include a hard working ethic, willingness to learn and aptitude to develop new skills quickly in order to work autonomously.

Remuneration
Salary is negotiable depending on previous/transferable experience brought to the role, with graduate salary based at £21,000 and climbing in line with the market for those with established and proven experience.
