An opportunity has arisen for a confident Temporary Works Co-ordinator to join one of the biggest names in UK Civil Engineering.
The successful candidate will be based on a 'flagship' project in East Yorkshire with over 5 years of continuous work. The scheme itself entails: highways infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, RC structures and many other aspects of civil engineering.
Compile and periodically update the Temporary Works Register.
Coordinate the design and construction of temporary works across all parties involved.
Undertake regular risk assessments and hold interdisciplinary meetings to update the Temporary Works Register.
Prepare and review Design Briefs prior to issue to the TWD.
Determine the schemes possible effect on the public and follow all approval processes to gain any certification required.
Must have relevant experience in a TWC role for a principal civil engineering contractor.
Ideally have knowledge and experience of highways and large infrastructure schemes.
Must have relevant qualifications as a 'Temporary Works Co-ordinator'.
Salary on offer up to £40,000 (dependent upon experience). Alongside this is a generous package inclusive of company vehicle, annual leave entitlement and potential shares in the business.
