New Consultants for Expanding Trades and Labour Team

Following on from its announcement of new leadership of its temporary blue collar staffing team, Corepeople, the North East’s longest established and pre-eminent recruitment agency for the built environment, is thrilled to herald the arrival of three further new recruitment consultants at its Durham head office.

Adding to an already well-established trades and labour team, Ella Waterfield, Rebecca Wilkie and Megan Scott joined Corepeople in the final quarter of 2018, with a collective remit of nurturing existing client relationships and developing new business amongst our civil engineering and groundworks clientele.

Ella possesses over five years’ experience in recruitment, most recently working for a competitor in Leeds, where she carried out a similar role to the one she now has, specialising in the provision of temporary workers to the civil engineering industry.

On her appointment, she commented: “When relocating to the North East from Yorkshire, Corepeople were the only agency I chose to approach, based on their excellent reputation within the industry, and because I share its core values of integrity, transparency and a desire to work hard on behalf of my clients and candidates. I am very excited to join the team at this time of growth and to play my part in its continued success”.

Rebecca and Megan joined Corepeople at the same time as Ella, again both in the capacity of recruitment consultants. Rebecca has recently returned from Australia, having worked in sales for the past two years, and Megan has spent the past eighteen months within a plant hire environment. For both this represents their first foray into the world of recruitment.

Their sector manager, Kim Brown, herself new to the company, states: “I’ve been extremely fortunate to inherit such a capable, committed and hard-working team. Ella, Rebecca and Megan have had an energising effect upon what was already a first rate unit, and the manner in which all three of them have hit the ground running is extremely gratifying.

These recent appointments underline Corepeople’s determination to be the agency of choice for the whole of the region’s built environment, and with consultants such as Ella, Rebecca, Megan and the rest of their colleagues in harness, I believe this to be a realistic objective, and one which I’m thrilled to be helping the company to achieve”
