Role
A Quantity Surveyor is required to join the commercial team to manage a number of projects. Responsibilities will include measurement and take offs, client liaison, cost management of subcontractors and direct labour, through to final account. Involvement may extend to costing of work and involvement with client meetings precontract at tendering stage. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who has some experience and is looking to progress into a more autonomous position with increased responsibilities.
Experience Required
Applicants will hold quantity surveying qualifications, ideally having completed a degree, HNC or HND. Experience within building main contractor or sizeable building subcontractor organisations is essential as the Quantity Surveyor must be competent to carry out the work independently, providing a level of mentorship to junior staff, and first hand support to the Commercial Manager.
Remuneration
Negotiable depending on experience – competitive basic salary plus car allowance.
