Building Estimator – Main Contractor

Company
Regional contractor busy with new build and refurbishment schemes for a range of clients throughout the local areas.

Role
Working closely with the senior management team, the Estimator will take projects from initial enquiry through to final pricing and project win before handing over to the project team and Quantity Surveyor for delivery. The role will include producing take offs from design information, collating a bill of quantities, managing subcontractor enquiries and liaising with the Project Manager in relation to buildability and risks. This is primarily an office based role with flexibility.

Experience Required
Familiarity with estimating software, building construction processes and measurement is a pre requisite for this role. The successful applicant will ideally have a building main contractor background, or be an accomplished quantity surveyor eager to move away from commercial negotiations and more toward front end commercial management of projects.

Remuneration
Negotiable depending on experience.
