Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee multiple new build housing projects and support the continued growth of the development programme. This permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering high-quality homes safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Site Managers across several live developments.
Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to build programmes, budgets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
Plan labour, resources, and subcontractor procurement in coordination with commercial and technical teams.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, providing guidance and resolving challenges.
Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement across build quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational processes.
Provide feedback to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning and future pipeline development.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager overseeing multiple new build housing sites.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse site teams.
Excellent organisational, planning, and communication abilities.
Solid knowledge of construction processes, NHBC standards, and current building regulations.
Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and other relevant certifications
Remuneration
£75,000 per annum + package, negotiable dependant on experience.
