On Friday afternoon Senior Consultant Catherine Hunter and I were delighted to join GMI Construction Group PLC’s table at the Bradley Hall North East Charity Race Day, a wonderful event to secure funds for three fantastic charities: Brave Hearts of the North East, Heel & Toe Children’s Charity and NE Youth.
Much fun was had by all, and the opportunity to bid for an original Tyne Bridge Rivet was exciting, although ultimately unsuccessful. However, when selecting a horse to back comes down to choosing the most amusing name or even just its colour, instead of any informed strategy, we were bound to choose the one with 125/1 odds. We’ll stick to recruitment in future!
