Sales Administrator required for a new, permanent role in the Bishop Auckland area.

The Role
The successful candidate must have an excellent telephone manner, the ability to provide a high standard of customer service and work as part of a team. As a key member of staff you must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a busy office environment.

As there is a customer base in America, this team work one week in four as a late shift, with an additional shift allowance payable.  Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week:

Day Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs & 8am to 2pm Fri.
Late Shift A : 12pm to 10pm Mon-Weds; 12.30pm to 10pm Thurs OR
Late Shift B: 2pm to 10pm Mon to Weds, 12.30pm to 10pm Thurs & 8.30-4.30 Fri

Please note that this is an office-based role and not hybrid.

Duties will include:

Maintaining the records of existing companies and contacts
Setting up new customers
Processing customer enquiries and sales orders
Entering prices and quotations onto an ERP system
Setting up collections with couriers
Processing invoices
Dealing with customer queries and complaints
Researching sales opportunities from a variety of sources
Contacting potential customers to gather information for marketing purposes and recording findings within the computerised customer database
General administrative duties.

The Person
Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong IT skills and be comfortable using a CRM or ERP.   They must also have recent, relevant experience.

Remuneration
£25,000 to £26,000 per annum.
