Site Engineer

An opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of regional work and a commitment to quality and staff development.

The Company
A well-established civil engineering contractor.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Setting out, levelling, and surveying in accordance with project specifications
Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring accurate implementation on site
Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently
Maintaining detailed site records and contributing to project reporting
Assisting in the delivery of projects on time and within budget
Supporting site management in all engineering aspects of the project

Experience Required
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field
Previous experience in a similar role within civil engineering (e.g., roads, drainage, infrastructure)
Proficiency with setting out equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station)
Valid CSCS card; SSSTS/SMSTS certification beneficial
Strong organisational and communication skills
