Site Manager
An excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and utilities to take a leading role on a variety of water and infrastructure projects across the North East. The position involves managing site activities, coordinating surveying and investigation teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

The Role
Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple utilities and water infrastructure schemes.
Supervise and coordinate surveying, investigation, and subcontractor teams.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Manage resources, scheduling, and progress reporting to maintain programme targets.
Liaise with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Support junior site staff and promote a positive, productive working environment.
This position offers a varied workload and would suit an experienced professional who has progressed from a trades or site-based background into site management.
Experience Required
Proven experience managing civil engineering or utilities projects, ideally within the water sector.
Strong understanding of groundworks, drainage, and pipeline installation.
Experience supervising site investigations and surveying operations.
SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence.
