We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee an 8-week commercial fit-out project starting in early January in Carlisle. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised professional who can manage day-to-day site activities and ensure the project is delivered safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors
Ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
Maintain strict health and safety standards, including inductions and toolbox talks
Monitor progress and quality, reporting regularly to the project team
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
Maintain accurate site records, permits, and documentation

Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out or refurbishment projects
Strong understanding of health and safety compliance
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
