Our client base ranges from internationally recognised contractors who have a strong foothold in the north of England to smaller, regional businesses that specialise in the geographical areas of the North East and Yorkshire. This includes Contractors, Housebuilders, Subcontractors, Developers and Consultants who operate within the public and private sector spheres of infrastructure, civil engineering, commercial building, and housing.

Current opportunities exist within our Technical Construction team, recruiting staff into permanent roles. The vacancies to be recruited are typically specialist positions which require individuals to have undertaken a prescribed pathway into the construction industry, from graduate through to management within preconstruction, commercial and operational disciplines.

We teach consultants to handle the full process, starting with obtaining the full job brief from the client, searching for, interviewing and thorough vetting of suitable applicants, to placing the person right for the role and following up through the aftercare service. Conversely, we also work in a candidate led manner, providing our expertise and knowledge of the market place to ensure that specialists seeking a career change are able to find their next step in a discreet and professional way.

Our team work together from the office during Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and from home on Mondays and Fridays. We offer flexibility to our staff when it’s needed, for example, to work around tricky issues such as childcare arrangements.

Experience Required
The construction sector is a competitive area for recruitment and we have to be switched on and at the forefront of the activity going on in our market place. A degree qualification is a good indicator for us that success can be achieved in this role and we welcome applications from recent graduates.

Transferable experience from other sectors such as sales within travel industry or car rental etc has been proven to fit well and we will consider applicants from these backgrounds for senior recruitment consultant positions.

A full driving licence is required.

Basic starting salaries can range from £18,500 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.  Commission is uncapped, and the minimum first year OTE is £25,000, although for many earnings significantly outstrip this.  In addition, successful candidates will receive pension, private medical insurance, permanent health insurance and life assurance as standard.

For those who have developed relevant transferable skills from other sectors, salary and benefits would be negotiable at a higher level.
