Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a competent Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is eager to become part of a growing commercial team of a flourishing construction business.

Working closely with the business leader and operations manager, this position carries responsibility for assisting on a number of quirky smaller projects plus a fewer number of longer term and larger commercial building projects, spanning throughout the North East geographical region. As the business grows and the incumbents skills develop, this role will offer strong career and personal development opportunities.

Experience Required
Applicants must have at least 3-5 years within a commercial dept. preferably having gained skills from building or refurbishment contracts. This can include anytime spent whilst gaining a qualification. More importantly, applicants will show entrepreneurial spirit and the enthusiasm to get stuck in to the detail of projects, excitement to work at the coal face and the ability to interact with all involved parties from the client, operations team and suppliers. The successful applicant will demonstrate openness to further learning of commercial and business management skills and have a interest in the growth of the company.

Remuneration
Negotiable depending on the successful applicant.
