Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant QS required in the new year by regional contractor, North East region.

Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is eager to become part of a commercial team in a flourishing construction business that provides an excellent environment for skill development and progression of responsibility on regional commercial building schemes. The ideal candidate will be assisting on a number of quirky smaller projects plus a fewer number of longer term and larger commercial building projects, spanning throughout the North East geographical region.

Experience Required
Applicants will be degree qualified in quantity surveying with some practical experience gained in construction, ideally with a building main contractor, as well as display ambitions to work within a reputable, top contracting business. More importantly, applicants will show entrepreneurial spirit and the enthusiasm to get stuck in to the detail of projects, with excitement and the ability to interact with all involved parties from the client, operations team and suppliers.

Remuneration
