Chef

Chef required for a role in Durham City, this is an ongoing temp role from September and is within a large senior school – the hours worked are term time only and the school holidays part paid via annual leave and part unpaid.

The Role
As a qualified chef and experienced leader, you will be responsible for menu planning, stock ordering and leading a team to prepare a variety of dished for 1500 people daily.

37 hrs per week, flexible working by negotiation, generally Monday – Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm (7.00am to 3.00pm Friday) with mutually agreed additional / unsociable hours as needed with time off in lieu or overtime is paid.

The Person
Applicants must be qualified to Level 3 as a Chef/Professional Cook, have the Advanced Food Hygiene certificate and  be comfortable working term time only.

Remuneration
£negotiable.
