Senior Maintenance Surveyor

Overview
Senior Maintenance Surveyor required to take ownership and help drive performance across a busy maintenance team. This is a hybrid role, there will be some days in the main office in Durham, other days from home and the rest will be working in properties across the North East. 

The Role
Lead and guide the surveying team to perform to their best and plan for future demand. 
Mentor/coach the team through change.
Set the tone for technical excellence with inspections, audits and sharing best practice. 
Take lead on complex cases, from disrepair to working with vulnerable customers.
Track team performance and use data to improve work and delivery for customers.

The Person 
Degree or equivalent in building surveying (RICS or CIOB preferred) plus relevant H&S qualification or knowledge of building safety and compliance.
Strong experience managing surveying teams in a housing or maintenance setting.
Excellent understanding of housing legislation, compliance and CDM.
Clear communication style and ability to coach others through change.
Solid track record in problem solving and delivering high standards.
Collaborative, practical approach and calm prospective in complex situations.

Remuneration
PAYE Rate – £200 Per Day
