Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a civil subcontracting business. 

Company
A civil engineering subcontractor delivering a wide range of projects involving drainage, foundations, earthworks, excavation work, retaining walls, external works and landscaping. It's an excellent learning ground for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work under the wing of an experienced manager, with support and training to then manage your own projects. Projects tend to be in Yorkshire, with some projects towards the Manchester area. 

The Role
There will be a variety of tasks such as measuring on site, carrying out valuations and submitting applications for payment and attending commercial meetings. A driving licence is required for this position. 

Experience Required
Degree qualified or similar in a construction related subject
A keen interest in civil engineering
Quantity Surveying candidates looking to gain hands-on experience will be considered as well as candidates already working in an Assistant level role.
