Excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to gain responsibility and experience with a building main contractor within the Construction industry.

Regional office of a National Tier 1 Main Contractor, operating across the North East on Medium to Large Building projects through commercial, leisure, education, Healthcare and Residential sectors.

Job
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your role will involve collaborating with the team to oversee various aspects of the project. This includes effectively managing work packages commercially to help manage and reduce costs and risks. Focusing on optimising value for money while meeting all necessary legal standards and maintaining quality within the parameters of the agreed contract conditions.

Experience Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience within a main contracting background and have a proven track record of success within high value projects. Degree / HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying and a knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
