An attractive opportunity in East Yorkshire for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an interior construction company who operate as subcontractor or main contractor.

The company have doubled their turnover year on year since they starting trading. The culture is professional but informal, with a casual dress code around the office and a good working atmosphere.
This is the ideal learning ground for an ambitious, driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to manage their own projects quickly, working closely with Directors, dealing with projects ranging from £5k to £500k. Responsibilities will include capturing CVR information (monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure), assisting with subcontractor accounts (payments, contract administration, variations, final accounts), escalating risks to senior management as required.
A suitable qualification such as a degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar
1+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a similar role
Driving licence essential – most of the travel involved is to projects in Yorkshire
Up to £30 000 depending on experience, generous holiday allowance, NEST pension.
