Due to a number of new developments, an Assistant Site Manager is required for a high end, private house builder based in the North Yorkshire area.
An expanding, independently owned property developer who deliver award winning homes and apartments.
To assist in the day to day running of the site and to supervise all trades to ensure a high quality of workmanship.
Managing employees on site, keeping paperwork up to date including – time sheets, allocation sheets, day works, etc.
Following all safety procedures in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Plan.
Key duties of the position include;
Organise all labour on site, including Sub-Contractors
Make sure all plant and machines are used safely and efficiently on site
Maintaining safety records
Keeping site records up to date as per Project Quality Plan
Maintain filing system
Checking time sheets
Ensure site is tidy
Keeping safety/scaffold/plant registers is up to date
Carry out all duties in accordance with Site Manager’s Procedure Manual
Previous experience in the Housing Industry essential.
Experience in managing Architects, Engineers, Clients, Sub-contractors, Supply Chain.
Ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
Health and safety awareness.
Programme Experience essential.
Working to NHBC standards.
Competitive, dependant on experience.
