An attractive Contracts Manager's role with a good degree of variety within a small main contractor, with a successful and established team.

Company
Having operated as main contractor for over 40 years, this family run construction company take pride in what they do, providing services for both new-build and refurbishment projects that range in value from £1 million to £8 million. Their projects include care homes, commercial including offices, retail, residential and domestic.

The Role
The Contracts Manager role within this organisation involves managing approximately 3 jobs from £1-£8 million at any one time,  managing the pipeline of upcoming works and subsequent programme of works on site, managing subcontractors and supporting and guiding the direct workforce, give careful attention to the client and ensure compliance with contract law. Sites at the moment are in Yorkshire and the Midlands.

Working as part of a close team in an open environment, the Contracts Manager will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider company, sharing ideas and driving a consistent message to all parties in line with the company's culture, standards and objectives.

Experience Required
It is essential that the Contracts Manger draws upon considerable general building experience,  with a proven track record in successfully managing teams with a mentoring approach, in driving results,  in anticipating and preventing problems, or in identifying  and solving them quickly and effectively. Expertise in JCT and NEC3 contracts is especially desirable.

Remuneration
IRO £50's including car/allowance.
