Design Manager

Due to a strong pipeline, an opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager to join one of the UK’s largest construction and fit-out companies.

Company
A long established contractor working on projects across a range of sectors, including education, healthcare, blue light and law, leisure, sports and entertainment, science and technology.

Role
The Design Manager will manage the design process, selecting and managing consultants. The successful candidate will report on design programmes and provide technical support to the bid process. They will have an innovative approach in order to develop designs on multiple projects of varying complexity.

Experience Required
Applicants will ideally have experience managing large scale or various projects at one time and a sound understanding of construction technology. They will have the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications and have experience of managing specialist designers and other team members. Experience in contracting and a valid driving license is also necessary.

Remuneration
Competitive package dependent on experience.
