Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor required for a national main contractor (build).

Top 10 national main contractor delivering projects for the MoD. The company have positioned themselves to become a leader in public sector construction meaning numerous high value contracts and a secure pipeline of work for the foreseeable future, as well as still carrying out construction for private sector too. 

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work as part of a team, supporting on the cost management of projects including sub-contractor procurement, valuations, variations and feeding into monthly reporting. Experience with MoD projects will be advantageous. Dealing directly with internal and external customers and where appropriate direct them to the appropriate contact or department to solve any queries. Liaising with all staff including Area Managers, Site Managers, Project Managers and the Commercial Team.  

Experience Required
Degree Qualified with experience in commercial new build and refurbishments. Experience of managing subcontractors including valuations and variations and an understanding of the tender process and estimating would advantageous. 

Remuneration
