Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor, autonomous role with development to Senior.

Company
Well established civil engineering contractor with a solid forecast of work coming over the next five years through a renewed framework. Projects are valued up to £1.5m and are spread across a range of civils activities including piling, earthworks, concrete and metal works.

Role
A Quantity Surveyor is required to price work and manage jobs through to completion. This will involve build up costs using a schedule of rates, price negotiations, site visits and engaging with the Site Agents, to closing the job. The role will also involve forecasting and reporting in accordance with the clients calendar requirements.

Projects are high volume and varied, so the QS will be involved with a wide range of construction techniques.

This position is primarily office based with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Experience Required
Applicants should come from a civil engineering background with some QS skills already, keen to develop within an established, busy company with an expending workload. The opportunity to progress toward Senior QS is part of the development in this position.
