Senior Quantity Surveyor

Large national principal contractor with projects across a wide range of sectors.

Role
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join the regional commercial team, to get involved as part of the project team working on two stage tenders to be followed by taking commercial responsibility for a specific projects. Project values upwards of £20 million across various sectors and frameworks. 

Working with the project team to maximise the success of the project for the client and contractor.
Planning and undertaking procurement of sub-contract works and subcontractor account management.
Monitoring and managing risks, change and overall project cost control to maximise profitability.
Accurate reporting of project financial performance.
Administering main contracts and sub-contracts throughout the works with knowledge of JCT & NEC forms.
Carrying out valuation of the Contractor’s and sub-contractors works to maintain positive cash flow.
CVR reporting.
Making payments and agreeing final accounts.

Experience Required
Applicants will have experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a main contractor environment, eager to work with a national business. 

Remuneration
Salary will vary depending on experience, plus car allowance or company car, generous holidays, company pension scheme, private health cover and life assurance.
